Neil Scheib vs Jack Mandl

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Hale Arena, Kansas City,  taking place on 10/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil Scheib (7 - 4 - 2) who hails from Kansas City, USA and Jack Mandl(11 - 3) from Kansas City, USA.  Scheib weighed in at 146 pounds And 4 ounces, while Mandl weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gethin Rodgers, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Dougherty, Phil Ekberg and Callum Johansen.  

Round 1: 

Mandl advances into close range.  Scheib pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mandl lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Mandl holds on to his opponent.  Mandl is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mandl to stop fouling.  
Scheib sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mandl hits home with a sharp cross.  
Scheib pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mandl is on target with a cross.  
Mandl forces Scheib to retreat into a corner.  Scheib attempts to land a left hook, but Mandl dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mandl lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Scheib pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mandl lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Mandl lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Mandl attempts to land a right uppercut, but Scheib blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
