Chris Kapinda vs Theo Vermeulen

Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Chitungwiza Mpoful, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 03/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Kapinda (6(1) - 2 - 2) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Theo Vermeulen(15(1) - 0) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Kapinda and Vermeulen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Rodger, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Mnangagwa, Paul Moyo and Patrick Chung.
