Glynn Madhuku vs Gus Cathcart

Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Harare Chifokoyo, Harare,  taking place on 05/02/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Glynn Madhuku (8 - 1) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Gus Cathcart(7 - 2 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Madhuku weighed in at 168 pounds, while Cathcart weighed in at 167 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Steven Joubert, and the three ringside judges are Josh Tiripano, Jacob Aulds and Rex Chiweshe.  

Round 1: 

Madhuku hits home with a cross.
