Leo Gray vs Hiroki Masuda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kobe Onaga, Kobe,  taking place on 11/02/2024:

Clearly AI Japan-Hyogo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leo Gray (10(8) - 0) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Hiroki Masuda(2 - 2 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Gray weighed in at 147 pounds, while Masuda weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Kawakami, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Fukunaga, Keiichi Koyanagi and Fumio Matsuno.  

Round 1: 

Gray lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.

Gray is on target with a left hook to Masuda's ribs.  
Masuda throws a left uppercut, but Gray holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Gray pushes his forearm into Masuda's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gray to stop fouling.  
Gray is looking to close the distance.  Masuda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gray lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Gray holds on to his opponent.  Gray pushes his forearm into Masuda's face.
