Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at First Avenue, Minneapolis,  taking place on 31/01/2024:

Clearly North Star Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Great Lakes Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Callison (8(4) - 0) who hails from Rockford, USA and Michael Menzies(13 - 1) from Columbus, USA.  Callison weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces, while Menzies weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Greg Pelle, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Langer, Ian Soderberg and Alastair Cullen.
