John Roller vs Juan Miguel

Boxing Daily Report from the Goose Hollow Promotions promoted show at Theater Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 07/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Roller (5 - 10) who hails from Spokane, USA and Juan Miguel(10 - 1(1)) from Long Beach, USA.  Both Roller and Miguel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Maxton, and the three ringside judges are John Malpass, Bradley Fortun and Zafa Rafiq.  

Round 1: 

Miguel connects with a cross.  
Roller feints a jab, but Miguel ignores the feint and responds with a left uppercut.  
Miguel lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Roller switches the action to the outside.  Miguel lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Miguel closes the distance and manages to force Roller into the corner.  Miguel is on target with a right uppercut.  
Roller tries to keep the action at long range.  Miguel lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Roller attempts to land a jab, but Miguel sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Miguel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Miguel tries to land a jab, but Roller sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Miguel is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Miguel holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Miguel pushes his forearm into Roller's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Miguel about fouling.  
Roller steps away from his opponent.  Miguel feints a right hook, and then is on target with a cross.

Miguel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Roller switches the action to the outside.  Miguel drives a jab into Roller's body.  
Miguel lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Miguel gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Roller is looking to keep his distance.  Miguel is on target with an overhand right.
