Waqar Firman vs Brett Dewornu

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at National Theatre, Lagos,  taking place on 10/02/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Western African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqar Firman (10(8) - 0) who hails from Ugep, Nigeria and Brett Dewornu(8 - 4 - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Firman weighed in at 167 pounds and 10 ounces, while Dewornu weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thompson Abulu, and the three ringside judges are Asif Shakir, Rehan Wakim and Ogenyi Adelakun.
