Michael Nieves vs Nicholas McCartney

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at First Avenue, Minneapolis,  taking place on 31/01/2024:

Clearly North Star Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Michael Nieves (3 - 0) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Nicholas McCartney(5 - 2) from Raleigh, USA.  Both Nieves and McCartney weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Greg Pelle, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Cullen, Ian Soderberg and Nathan Langer.  

Round 1: 

Nieves feints a cross, but McCartney does not fall for it and is on target with a left hook.
