Evan Donohoe vs Ian Morse

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Big Gym, London,  taking place on 26/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Evan Donohoe (1 - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Ian Morse(0 - 0) from London, UK.  Donohoe weighed in at 129 pounds and 4 ounces, while Morse weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joe Dempster, and the three ringside judges are Harry Gwilym, Jim McCombie and Glynn Reddick.

Morse steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Donohoe accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Morse.  Donohoe drives a sharp left hook into Morse's ribs.

Morse closes the distance.  Donohoe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Donohoe digs in a firm right hook to Morse's body.  Donohoe ties up his opponent.  Donohoe leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Donohoe pushes his forearm into Morse's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
