Hugh Probert vs James Kieft

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Big Gym, London,  taking place on 26/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hugh Probert (3 - 0) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and James Kieft(2 - 2 - 2) from Liverpool, UK.  Both Probert and Kieft weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Dempster, and the three ringside judges are Jim McCombie, Harry Gwilym and Glynn Reddick.

Kieft throws a left hook, but Probert holds on to his opponent.  Probert leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Probert drives a left hook into Kieft's ribs.  
Probert forces Kieft to retreat into the corner.  Probert attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Kieft's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
