Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Vega 2, Copenhagen,  taking place on 27/01/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are George Patera (2 - 0) who hails from Piraeus, Greece and Carson Franzen(1 - 10(1) - 2) from Aarhus, Denmark.  Both Patera and Franzen weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Viggo Andreassen, and the three ringside judges are Thorin Brauner, Ulster Fabricius and Rad Gustavsen.  

Round 1: 

Patera closes the distance.  Patera pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Patera gets on the inside.  Patera sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Patera forces Franzen to back into the corner.  Patera is on target with a right hook.  
Patera pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Patera hits home with a solid left hook.  
Patera lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Patera closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Patera lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Patera connects with a solid left uppercut.  Patera ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Patera pushes his forearm into Franzen's face.  The ref breaks Patera's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Patera gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Patera closes the distance and forces Franzen to retreat into a corner.  Patera pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Patera drives a left uppercut into Franzen's ribs.  
Patera advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Patera pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Patera gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into Franzen's body.  
Patera pivots to the right of his opponent.  Franzen throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Franzen's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Franzen's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Patera throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Franzen steps away from his opponent.  Patera quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Patera gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Patera ties up his opponent.  Patera tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Franzen behind the head. Patera leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Patera's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Franzen steps to the outside.  Patera drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Patera pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Patera lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Patera manouvers Franzen into the corner.  Patera pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Patera advances into close range.  Patera sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Patera feints a left hook, and then lands a jab.  
Patera advances into close range.  Patera quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Franzen throws a left hook, but Patera ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Patera's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Patera quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Patera advances into close range.  Patera pivots to the left of his opponent.  Patera lands a left hook.  Patera ties up his opponent.  Patera leans on his opponent using all his weight. Patera tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Franzen's kidney.

Patera lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Patera's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win. Franzen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
