Dave Connolly vs Kenzie Carnegie

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 25/01/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dave Connolly (3 - 0) who hails from New York City, USA and Kenzie Carnegie(2 - 0) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Connolly and Carnegie weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Faisal Rasul, and the three ringside judges are Chris Suit, Paul Speed and Rob Smith.  

Round 1: 

Connolly is looking to keep his distance.  Connolly feints a right, and then lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Carnegie attempts to land an overhand right, but Connolly blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Connolly advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  
Connolly lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Connolly feints a jab, tricking Carnegie into countering with a left hook.  Connolly springs the trap, countering with  a cross.  
Connolly closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Connolly advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to Carnegie's body.  
Connolly lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Connolly walks Carnegie down, trapping him in the corner.  Connolly lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Carnegie throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Connolly pivots to the side of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Connolly advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Connolly finds the target with a hard jab.  
Connolly closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
