Manchu Chak vs Goro Horiuchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo,  taking place on 22/02/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Manchu Chak (12 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Chongqing, China and Goro Horiuchi(9(1) - 4) from Amagasaki, Japan.  Both Chak and Horiuchi weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ryo Shiroma, and the three ringside judges are Yutaka Hirayama, Takeo Kibe and Kaede Toyama.  

Round 1: 

Chak quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Horiuchi is on target with a firm right hook.  
Horiuchi steps inside.  Chak digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Chak throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Chak tries to land a right uppercut, but Horiuchi slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Horiuchi senses Chak is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Horiuchi lands a WICKED right hook.  CHAK IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Horiuchi lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS CHAK TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Horiuchi!
