Franciscus Vaes vs Jerome Helugghen

Boxing Daily Report from the Fosuhehe Promotions promoted show at Couwel Hasebroeck Gym, Ghent,  taking place on 13/02/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Belgium-Flanders Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franciscus Vaes (12(1) - 3 - 1) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Jerome Helugghen(7 - 6 - 3) from Bruges, Belgium.  Both Vaes and Helugghen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gerben Letins, and the three ringside judges are Gillis Haverbeke, Ludolf Van der Plaatse and Oswald Tinnepotghietere.
