Huang-fu Vi vs Genjo Joo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Liaoning promoted show at Shenyang Ong, Shenyang,  taking place on 14/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on His TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Huang-fu Vi (11 - 0) who hails from Shenyang, China and Genjo Joo(6 - 8(1)) from Hangzhou, China.  Both Vi and Joo weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yu Leung, and the three ringside judges are Chung Won, Jin Na and Yu Leung.  

Round 1: 

Vi closes the distance.  Vi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Joo attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Vi time to recover.
