Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Grand Hall,Guild Hall, Preston,  taking place on 18/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the British Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alastair McAlpin (7(3) - 0) who hails from Preston, UK and Shane Donovan(8 - 5 - 1) from Bangor, UK.  McAlpin weighed in at 129 pounds And 6 ounces, while Donovan weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul McComb, and the three ringside judges are Dave Housler, Timothy Yates and Glynn James.
