Christophoros Sava vs Ozgur Pektemek

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Tirana International Hotel, Tirana,  taking place on 24/02/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Christophoros Sava (5 - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Ozgur Pektemek(4 - 8 - 4) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Both Sava and Pektemek weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bashkim Ahmeti, and the three ringside judges are Besin Cela, Agron Dreshaj and Erjon Gecaj.  

Round 1: 

Sava steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Pektemek throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Sava advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sava dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Sava.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
