Faisal Abid vs Acelin Osmond

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 20/01/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Faisal Abid (17(10) - 0) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Acelin Osmond(1 - 8 - 7) from Liege, Belgium.  Both Abid and Osmond weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Lowery, and the three ringside judges are Harvey McIver, Ewan Goodlet and Ryan Wilde.  

Round 1: 

Abid closes the distance.  Abid pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  As Osmond tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Abid dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Abid lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.
