Rhys Hughes vs Quico Cepeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Sports Wales Centre, Cardiff,  taking place on 23/03/2024:

Clearly Pacific and Andean Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rhys Hughes (4 - 2 - 1) who hails from London, UK and Quico Cepeda(5 - 4 - 1) from Lima, Peru.  Hughes weighed in at 244 pounds and 7 ounces, while Cepeda weighed in at 238 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Edwyn Brodie, and the three ringside judges are Terry Lyons, Terry Lyons and Joshua Gillespie.  

Round 1: 

Hughes switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross to Cepeda's body.
