Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guatemala-Guatemala promoted show at Universidad Mariano Galvez, Guatemala City,  taking place on 18/02/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Guatemala Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on El Súper Canal, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Olavarria (12 - 1) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Reyes Ruis(8 - 4 - 1) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Both Olavarria and Ruis weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonardo Leano, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Ureno, Rico Capo and Zacarias Arellanes.
