Burke Jann vs Berend Giesel

Boxing Daily Report from the Situmbeko Promotions promoted show at Hamburg Gelsinger, Hamburg,  taking place on 18/02/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Germany-Hamburg Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Burke Jann (8 - 1) who hails from Hamburg, Germany and Berend Giesel(16 - 2 - 1) from Hamburg, Germany.  Jann weighed in at 175 pounds, while Giesel weighed in at 173 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Coen Mayers, and the three ringside judges are Louis Heit, Willifrid Ackert and Adelberto Gauerke.
