Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Lower Saxony promoted show at Hanover Danneman, Hanover,  taking place on 20/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Germany Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Janez Bierwirth (8 - 1) who hails from Hanover, Germany and Are Mais(13(2) - 0) from Hanover, Germany.  Both Bierwirth and Mais weighed in at 135 pounds.
