Dai Shibata vs Kyo Shoda

Boxing Daily Report from the Muya Promotions promoted show at Kazuki Fujikawa Gym, Ichikawa,  taking place on 21/02/2024:

Clearly Muya Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai Shibata (13 - 2 - 1) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Kyo Shoda(3 - 10 - 1) from Funabashi, Japan.  Both Shibata and Shoda weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Akira Oshita, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Aoyama, Michi Sakamoto and Kazuhiko Sakaguchi.  

Round 1: 

Shibata is looking to keep his distance.  Shibata sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shoda attempts to land a jab, but Shibata blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
