Chris Irving vs Brad Leishman

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Central England promoted show at Peterborough Damon, Peterborough,  taking place on 06/02/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Chris Irving (1 - 0) who hails from Leeds, UK and Brad Leishman(0 - 1(1)) from Manchester, UK.  Irving weighed in at 239 pounds and 15 ounces, while Leishman weighed in at 237 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joel Kitchin, and the three ringside judges are Joey Weir, Mervyn Gubay and Lee Ladd.

Irving hits home with a left hook.  
Irving lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Leishman throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Irving's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Irving steps inside and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Irving lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Irving steps inside and digs in a left uppercut to Leishman's ribs.  
Irving digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Irving walks Leishman down, trapping him on the ropes.  Irving lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.
