Josh Prothero vs Haru Panapa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 23/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Josh Prothero (12 - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Haru Panapa(9 - 4 - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Prothero and Panapa weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Booth, and the three ringside judges are Declan Haturini, Hani Rarere and Ellis Raharuhi.
