Phil McCort vs Hansi Dahm

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Elliot Gym, Bristol,  taking place on 02/02/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Phil McCort (0 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Hansi Dahm(0 - 1) from Duisburg, Germany.  McCort weighed in at 241 pounds and 5 ounces, while Dahm weighed in at 231 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Declan Callan, and the three ringside judges are Chris McSween, Robert Desmond and Johnny Breckenridge.  

Round 1:

Dahm sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McCort digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCort hits home with a right hook.  
Dahm steps inside.  McCort lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
McCort throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  McCort holds on to his opponent.  McCort uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Dahm behind the head. The referee warns McCort and breaks the clinch.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dahm dabs at his face checking for damage.  Dahm has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
