Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Bulawayo Madziva, Bulawayo,  taking place on 22/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Laken Chikunga (11 - 1 - 2) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and John Chipeta(13 - 2) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Chikunga and Chipeta weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leighton Van den Bergh, and the three ringside judges are Joseph Tongogara, Joey Mumbengegwi and Leighton Van den Bergh.
