Waqar Zickby vs Shayan Ashraf

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai, Dubai,  taking place on 23/02/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Middle East Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Al Jazeera Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqar Zickby (11 - 3 - 1) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Shayan Ashraf(14 - 0 - 2) from Abu Dhabi, UAE.  Zickby weighed in at 115 pounds, while Ashraf weighed in at 114 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Waqas Rahaim, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Habkouk, Zafa Azzam and Kamran Basri.
