Walfred Stieg vs Conrado Maner

Boxing Daily Report from the Die Ring-Generäle promoted show at Die Gym, Munich,  taking place on 09/02/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are War Walfred Stieg (3 - 0) who hails from Hamburg, Germany and Conrado Maner(2 - 4 - 1) from Berlin, Germany.  Stieg weighed in at 232 pounds and 2 ounces, while Maner weighed in at 237 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Archimbald Marzen, and the three ringside judges are Reamonn Dade, Arnald Peachey and Archard Labus.  

Round 1: 

Stieg lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Stieg is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Maner's body.  Stieg clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Maner pushes his forearm into Stieg's face.  The referee warns Maner and breaks the clinch.  
Maner throws a left uppercut, but Stieg clinches his opponent.  Stieg is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Stieg.  
Stieg hits home with a firm right hook.  Stieg ties up his opponent.  Stieg leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Maner is on target with a left hook to Stieg's ribs.  
Stieg connects with a stinging left hook.  
Stieg lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stieg sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Maner throws a left hook, but Stieg ties up his opponent.  Stieg leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stieg gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Stieg lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Stieg sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Stieg hits home with a left hook.  
Stieg gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to Maner's ribcage.  Stieg holds on to his opponent.  Stieg is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Stieg's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Stieg advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Maner's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Maner's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Maner closes the distance.  Stieg is on target with a right hook.  
Stieg digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stieg lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  As Stieg tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Maner dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Maner.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Stieg is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Maner closes the distance.  Stieg is on target with a solid left hook.  
Stieg steps inside and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Maner throws a right hook, but Stieg ties up his opponent.  Stieg tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Maner behind the head. Stieg leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
