Ian Fram vs Dave Fenwick

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Logan Campbell Centre, Auckland,  taking place on 07/03/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sommet Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Fram (10 - 6 - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Dave Fenwick(7 - 3 - 2) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Fram and Fenwick weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ellis Raharuhi, and the three ringside judges are Henry Edmonston, Antwan Vaughan and Bryan Swineford.  

Round 1: 

Fram lands a cross.  
Fenwick closes the distance and forces Fram to back into the ropes.  Fenwick lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Fram tries to step out of his opponents range.  Fenwick is on target with an overhand right.  
Fram is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Fenwick goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Fram time to recover.
