Josef Kobza vs Myril Bickle

Boxing Daily Report from the JDHawks Gym promoted show at Chivalry Vanier Gym, Bratislava,  taking place on 24/02/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Josef Kobza (3 - 0) who hails from Bratislava, Slovakia and Myril Bickle(5 - 3 - 2) from Freiburg, Germany.  Both Kobza and Bickle weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Garland de La Fontaine, and the three ringside judges are Gerald Beye, Saber Mbodji and Beau Ba.  

Round 1: 

Kobza lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kobza is looking to close the distance.  Bickle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kobza is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.

Kobza throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Kobza ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Kobza's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bickle throws a left hook, but Kobza holds on to his opponent.  Kobza throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kobza about fouling.  
Kobza lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bickle dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kobza pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bickle is on target with a right uppercut.  
Kobza steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Kobza is on target with a left hook to Bickle's ribs.  
Kobza quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kobza is on target with a stinging right hook.  Kobza attempts to land a right uppercut, but Bickle slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kobza closes the distance and walks Bickle down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Kobza is on target with a left hook.  
Kobza lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Kobza throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Kobza clinches his opponent.  Kobza is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kobza is on target with a solid right hook.  Kobza attempts to land a right hook, but Bickle blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
