Antwan Falconer vs Jordan Murphy

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringtime Championship Boxing promoted show at Ringtime Gym, Birmingham,  taking place on 15/02/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Antwan Falconer (2 - 0) who hails from Leeds, UK and Jordan Murphy(4 - 4 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Falconer weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces, while Murphy weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zain Salam, and the three ringside judges are Robert Wathen, Ibrahim Mohammad and Robert Bevans.  

Round 1: 

Falconer closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Falconer clinches his opponent.  Falconer leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Falconer pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

Falconer lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Falconer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Falconer dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Falconer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Falconer throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Falconer ties up his opponent.  Falconer pushes his forearm into Murphy's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Falconer to stop fouling.

Falconer steps inside and walks his opponent into the red corner.  Falconer digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Falconer lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Falconer digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Falconer lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Falconer holds on to his opponent.  Falconer is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Falconer gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Falconer holds on to his opponent.  Falconer leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
