Rich Crossen vs Alano Recio

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kern Center Arena, Milwaukee,  taking place on 12/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rich Crossen (4(1) - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Alano Recio(5 - 7 - 2) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Crossen and Recio weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zach McCrae, and the three ringside judges are Richard Cavanagh, Rex Applegarth and John Quirke.  

Round 1: 

Crossen is looking to close the distance.  Recio attempts to land a right uppercut, but Crossen sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.

Crossen tries to keep the action at long range.  Crossen feints a right hook, and then throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Recio gets on the inside.  Crossen digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Crossen is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Crossen lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Crossen ties up his opponent.  Crossen tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Recio behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Crossen.
