Hugh Ritchison vs Lewis Allen

Boxing Daily Report from the Hard hitting promotions promoted show at National Lawn Tennis Complex, Nassau,  taking place on 01/04/2024:

Clearly Hard hitting promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hugh Ritchison (2(1) - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Lewis Allen(1 - 1 - 1) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Ritchison weighed in at 134 pounds And 4 ounces, while Allen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Pollick, and the three ringside judges are Geoff Ways, Jack Binnie and Ian Crandall.  

Round 1: 

Ritchison lands a left uppercut.  
Allen advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ritchison drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Ritchison attempts to land a right hook, but Allen slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Allen's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Allen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
