Diego Pompa vs Juan Abela

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwanambulo Promotions promoted show at San Miguelito Villafane, San Miguelito,  taking place on 27/02/2024:

Clearly Mwanambulo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Panama-Panama State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Pompa (14 - 1) who hails from San Miguelito, Panama and Juan Abela(7 - 2) from Panama City, Panama.  Pompa weighed in at 174 pounds and 2 ounces, while Abela weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jerrold Dena, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Lama, Vicente Lama and Rafael Aybar.  

Round 1: 

Pompa is looking to close the distance.  Abela pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
