Alejandro Corbo vs Nemesio Campo

Boxing Daily Report from the Aqua Marines Promotions promoted show at Coliseo Roberto Clemente, San Juan,  taking place on 16/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Puerto Rico-San Juan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Corbo (11 - 2) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Nemesio Campo(6 - 7 - 3) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Corbo and Campo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pancho Fuerte, and the three ringside judges are Diego Marina, Cortez Redondo and Ulises Monforte.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Corbo.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
