Bartlomiej Stroik vs Lew Janeczek

Boxing Daily Report from the Silver Boxing Promotion promoted show at Silver Gym, Warsaw,  taking place on 08/02/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Bartlomiej Stroik (4 - 0) who hails from Poznan, Poland and Lew Janeczek(0 - 0) from Krakow, Poland.  Both Stroik and Janeczek weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Makary Hawrylak, and the three ringside judges are Marceli Koscielniak, Dawid Golomb and Kacper Barysz.  

Round 1: 

Stroik sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stroik is on target with a right hook.  Stroik clinches his opponent.  Stroik uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Janeczek behind the head. 
Stroik manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Stroik pivots to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Stroik pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Stroik is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Stroik feints a cross, and then connects with a cross.  
Stroik steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stroik pivots to the right of his opponent.  Janeczek throws a left hook, but Stroik holds on to his opponent.  Stroik pushes his forearm into Janeczek's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Stroik about fouling.  
Stroik digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Stroik feints a left hook, and then snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Stroik steps inside and forces Janeczek to retreat into a corner.  Stroik quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Stroik pivots from in front of his opponent.  Janeczek throws a left hook, but Stroik holds on to his opponent.  Stroik leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Janeczek tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Stroik cuts off the ring, trapping Janeczek in a neutral corner.  Stroik pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Janeczek's body.  
Stroik is on target with a left hook to Janeczek's liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Janeczek's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Janeczek's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
