Sasha Markoff vs Pyotr Ostrovsky

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Chelyabinsk Oblast promoted show at Hotel Markstadt, Chelyabinsk,  taking place on 01/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sasha Markoff (10 - 2(1)) who hails from Chelyabinsk, Russia and Pyotr Ostrovsky(11 - 0) from Engels, Russia.  Both Markoff and Ostrovsky weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valeri Lampeev, and the three ringside judges are Melor Kuzin, Pyotr Nabokov and Dmitriy Koksharov.
