Jun Kuba vs Takeo Umemoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Hiroshima Hiraoka, Hiroshima,  taking place on 01/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jun Kuba (11 - 1) who hails from Kure, Japan and Takeo Umemoto(4 - 0) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Both Kuba and Umemoto weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Yokoyama, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Higashi, Jun Hironaka and Takeshi Niwa.
