Diego Baena vs Joaquin Quijas

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Jacobo, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uruguay Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Baena (7 - 2 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Joaquin Quijas(7 - 8) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Baena and Quijas weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Chirinos, and the three ringside judges are Neron Archibeque, Roman Bilbao and Juan Polino.
