Boxing Daily Report from the Manyama Promotions promoted show at Kampala Azad, Kampala,  taking place on 02/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Kampala District Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Naeem Sekajja (8(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Gareth Bhimji(6 - 0 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Sekajja and Bhimji weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Mugo, and the three ringside judges are Jay Mwesige, Usi Matembe and Chata Saleh.
