Connor Myres vs Gareth Daley

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 05/02/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Connor Myres (2 - 0) who hails from Manchester, USA and Gareth Daley(0 - 3) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Myres and Daley weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Salam, and the three ringside judges are Mike Sconce, Dale Garrett and Wayne Atcheson.  

Round 1: 

Myres closes the distance.  Myres pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Myres pivots from in front of his opponent.  Daley attempts to land a right hook, but Myres sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
