Kong Chak vs Kazuhiko Ohara

Boxing Daily Report from the Aidoo Promotions promoted show at Hiroshima Hiraoka, Hiroshima,  taking place on 23/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kong Chak (14(9) - 1) who hails from Zhengzhou, China and Kazuhiko Ohara(4 - 5) from Tokyo, Japan.  Chak weighed in at 121 pounds and 4 ounces, while Ohara weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Suda, and the three ringside judges are Nori Oye, Keiichi Nakata and Goro Tengan.  

Round 1: 

Chak steps to the outside.  Ohara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ohara tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ohara manouvers Chak onto the ropes.  Chak lands a left hook.

Chak feints a left hook, and then lands a hard jab.  
Chak drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.

Ohara steps inside.  Chak drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Chak holds on to his opponent.  Chak pushes his forearm into Ohara's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chak.

Ohara is clearly losing his cool here!   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Chak's groin!  The ref halts the action and sends Chak to the neutral corner.    He tells Ohara to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.

Ohara tries to step out of his opponents range.  Chak knows Ohara is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Chak connects with a SAVAGE left hook.  OHARA IS DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT OHARA IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Chak!
