Rafael Penano vs Akira Muto

Boxing Daily Report from the Maloian Promotions promoted show at Hiroshima Ueno, Hiroshima,  taking place on 01/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rafael Penano (2 - 0) who hails from Quezon City, Philippines and Akira Muto(2 - 1) from Chiba, Japan.  Both Penano and Muto weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Goro Tengan, and the three ringside judges are Ichiro Otani, Ichiro Otani and Nori Oye.  

Round 1: 

Muto lands a cross.

Penano pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
