Sam Casas vs Brendan Ballentine

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Dallas Crookshanks, Dallas,  taking place on 03/03/2024:

Clearly AI USA-Texas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Casas (11 - 3) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Brendan Ballentine(9 - 5(1)) from Austin, USA.  Both Casas and Ballentine weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Bellamy, and the three ringside judges are Brett Sproule, Paul Mings and Amon East.  

Round 1: 

Ballentine stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Casas throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
