Paul Matombo vs Ian Nyumbu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at St Marys Gym, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 03/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Matombo (6 - 0 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Ian Nyumbu(10 - 4 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Matombo and Nyumbu weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Chipeta, and the three ringside judges are Jacob Aulds, Darryl Sibanda and Josh Tiripano.  

Round 1:
