Ui-jo Choung vs Hiroki Maeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Carabetian Promotions promoted show at Mikio Hirai Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 01/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ui-jo Choung (3 - 0) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Hiroki Maeda(2 - 1 - 1) from Suita, Japan.  Choung weighed in at 134 pounds And 10 ounces, while Maeda weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nao Mori, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Fujiwara, Kazuhiko Ozawa and Naoki Kawasaki.  

Round 1:
