Khalid Naseer vs Amjad Riaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Rooq Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 25/02/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Khalid Naseer (3 - 0) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Amjad Riaz(0 - 3 - 1) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Naseer weighed in at 160 pounds, while Riaz weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amjad Ebrahimi, and the three ringside judges are Rehman Saadeh, Rehan Azam and Waqar Sabir.  

Round 1: 

Naseer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Riaz's body.
