Nwa Kariuki vs Danyaal Shafi

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Gene Polisseni Center, Rochester,  taking place on 25/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nwa Kariuki (8 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Danyaal Shafi(11 - 7 - 1) from Dallas, USA.  Kariuki weighed in at 160 pounds, while Shafi weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Whitten, and the three ringside judges are Ian Shea, James Daley and Gareth Frost.  

Round 1: 

Shafi hits home with a cross.
