Hikaru Katayama vs Fumio Oye

Boxing Daily Report from the Carabetian Promotions promoted show at Mikio Hirai Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 01/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hikaru Katayama (3 - 0) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Fumio Oye(3 - 2 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Katayama weighed in at 112 pounds, while Oye weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nao Mori, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Fujiwara, Kazuhiko Ozawa and Naoki Kawasaki.
